The tapes of this set, recorded at a long forgotten venue had lain in Dannys attic for 32 years. The Danny Thompson Trio, in this particular format did not enjoy a very long life but when it was in action it enjoyed the highest possible respect from the leaders of London's jazz scene. The likes of Ronnie Scott and Tubby Hayes were impressed.
